Buck and Johnny's
For a different morning experience, head to Buck and Johnny's in Breaux Bridge for their famous Zydeco Breakfast. In between bites of classic Louisiana dishes, move your feet to lively zydeco music. Blue Moon Saloon
In Lafayette, head to the Blue Moon Saloon for a wide variety of Cajun and zydeco bands who really know how to rock the joint! Since it’s opening in 2001, it’s become one of America’s premier venues for Cajun music and they boast that it is a meeting place for world travelers, families and artists to gather, dance and have a good time.
Mulate's
Get a taste of Cajun country in New Orleans at Mulate’s, which preserves and celebrates the food, music and culture found throughout the small towns and bayous of south Louisiana. Mulate’s features live Cajun music and dancing paired with a great Cajun menu seven days a week.
Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall
Over in Mandeville, the Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall is the oldest Jazz Social Hall in America, built in 1895. Many famed performers have made appearances here, and the spirit is still alive there today.
Jolly Inn
If your Louisiana trip includes a stop in Houma, you’ll have a Ph.D. in dancing before you leave. Just be sure to visit the Jolly Inn's dance hall for toe-tapping tunes.
